Surly Ogre Frameset - Orlok's Shadow

The Ogre is Surly's steel utility vehicle: equally suited to year-round commuting, gravel exploring, doubletrack and loaded bikepacking. It is not the lightest or most specialised frame here, but it is arguably the most adaptable. The huge tyre clearance, flexible Gnot-Boost rear end and almost excessive number of mounts mean it can be built around conventional gears, Rohloff, racks, cargo cages or even a trailer without forcing the bike into one narrow job.
